1    THIS FIELD REPRESENTS ONE OF THE FOLLONG:  (this field is required)

• LV = Low Voltage – < 1 volt to 1 kilovolt
• LV1A =  Low Voltage – manufactured to MIL-STD-188-125-1A
• MV5K = Medium Voltage – 1 kilovolt to 15 kilovolt

       Note: all low voltage markings for MIL-STD 188-125-1A filters are followed by 1A.

2    THIS FIELD REPRESENTS FILTER TYPE: (this field is required)

• H = HEMP POWER
• HD = HEMP DATA
• HC = HEMP CONTROL
• HT = HEMP TEMPEST
• T = TEMPEST POWER
• TC = TEMPEST CONTROL
• TD = TEMPEST DATA
  

3    THIS FIELD REPRESENTS FILTER CONFIGURATION AND NUMBER OF LINES: (this field is required) 

     Total number of lines “phases & neutral” this example reflects a modular four-line filter.
     a modular filter “removable from housing”.

     NOTE: for an integrated “one piece” filter and housing, field will start with:
     C = COMPOSITE – example: C4L

4    THIS FIELD REPRESENTS FILTER CURRENT RATING FOLLOWED BY: (this field is required) 

     A = AMPERAGE – example: 1200A                                       

5    THIS FIELD REPRESENTS FILTER VOLTAGE RATING: (this field is required) 

     Standard Voltage Options as follows:

Voltage Alternating Current – 120, 250 or 480  Followed by: V = VAC

Voltage Direct Current – 24, 48 or  72  Followed by: DC = VDC

NOTE: Customer may define an alternitive voltage rating.

Custom part numbers are assigned for filters not offered as a TSS standard :

• filter performance
• housing dimensions or penetrations

EXAMPLE

7    This field is comprised of: (this field is required as needed)

• The first three letters are the customer designation.
  GOL = Goliath LLC.

• The last four numbers represent month and year.
